Privacy Policy

Chaos Party is an interactive party-game website. This policy explains what information is handled when you use the service.

Information we handle

Guest players provide a display name and room code. Signed-in users provide account information made available through ChatGPT sign-in, including a display name and email address. We also store game participation, points, wins, streaks, purchases, subscription status and room activity needed to operate the service. If you choose to connect Twitch, YouTube or Kick chat, we store your platform account ID alongside your signed-in account so future chat votes and guesses can count toward your League progress. You can disconnect chat from the Link chat page. We also briefly keep a connection code and the public chat display name you confirm during linking.

Playtesting and owner access

The site owner can privately review account email and display name, signed-in visits, room participation, game starts and endings, and round actions to understand testing progress and diagnose problems. Signed-in visits are grouped by hour; this is not a complete authentication log. Guest actions are recorded with their room display name and player identifier, without an account email. Activity tracking does not collect card details, passwords, or copy written game answers into the activity log. The owner may keep private testing notes and grant or revoke complimentary, expiring game access without changing paid subscriptions. Recorded activity begins when this feature launches; earlier participation may be reconstructed from existing room records.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Chaos Party does not receive or store your full card number. Stripe may process payment, fraud-prevention, tax and transaction information under its own privacy terms.

Cookies and advertising

Essential browser storage is used to remember choices and support core features. If you allow advertising cookies, future advertising partners may use identifiers to deliver, limit and measure ads in Free games. Advertising cookies are not loaded until an advertising provider is connected and your choice permits them. You can reopen Cookie choices from the footer.

How information is used

Information is used to run rooms and games, maintain accounts and leaderboards, provide purchased features, process support and payments, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

Sharing

Information may be processed by service providers needed to operate Chaos Party, including hosting, authentication and payment providers. We do not sell personal information.

Your choices

You can play as a guest, decline optional advertising cookies, sign out, or request access to or deletion of account information. Some records may be retained when required for payment, fraud prevention, legal compliance or security.
